Scripture: Phillipians 2: 5-11
Life doesn’t nec. consist in climbing the ladder of success.

Sometimes a demotion makes you a better worker in the church.

What did Jesus lay aside (to come to earth in the form of a man)?
-being glorified and praised all the time Heb 2:16
-his riches 2 Cor 8:9
-being equal with God.

The Lord whom we should serve came to serve
He emptied himself.
