I have decided to volunteer for the Care International Volunteer Abroad Program. Over the next few months I will be raising money so that I can go on the trip. More information is forthcoming.

Whew these past few days have been quite busy for me. I had an assignment thursday and today. I also held my first weblogger’s meetup. It was very interesting. We had a small turnout. 3 people showed up, but that provided for some very interesting conversation. We managed to talk about religion and politics and still walk away friends. That to me is pretty neat. We each had different views. I’m Christian. The other lady that was there was agnostic and the other guy that was there was atheist. Needless to say we had a pretty animated discussion. I can’t wait for the next one.

Blogging Tips
I thought this was a very good article. Sometimes I get in a blogging rut and I have to read a lot of stuff before I can figure out what to write about.
I know it’s been a while since I posted any poetry here, but it’s coming. My muse was all out of whack because I was worried about where my boyfriend was. I’ll feel a lot better when he’s done with the military. I am not anti-military or anything, I am just kind of censoring myself so nothing bad happens to him.
