My thoughts on the Schiavo case
I decided to wait until this case resolved itself before I added my two cents to the debate. I think it was incredibly wrong for them to have let this woman starve to death. It was obvious to me that her husband just wanted her to go on and die so that he could live with his mistress and the family he had by her. Now I don't know how much weight this would hold in court, but if I were to get into a situation where I couldn't make my own decisions, I would want the doctors to use whatever medical means are available to keep me alive.
On a lighter note, if anyone reading this blog saw last night's South Park, what was Kenny's reward for saving Heaven? TiVo stopped recording before it got to the end so I didn't get to see that part. If you saw it, post the end on the comments. Thanks.
Okay now that I've gotten that rant out of my system, I can go to sleep peacefully tonight.

Kenny got a gold Keanu Reeves statue posed like Michaelangelo’s David.
Thanks tam. It was bothering me not to know the ending
Like you, I didn’t want to comment on the Shaivo case until it was over. It is just too incredibly sad that she was killed this way. I have many deep and distressed feelings about what happened, but didn’t want to contribute to the general hoopla going on over this dear woman. Besides which – I felt I was too far away to do anything for her – I’m in California – and I knew others were looking after her legal needs. BTW – I’m Linda Jo Martin from Ryze – thought I’d check out your weblogs today and see where I might be able to link to them from mine.
