Book Review: Playing for Pizza-John Grisham
If you’re a John Grisham regular, this book is a shock to the senses. It’s a great book, but it’s a shock because it’s a departure from his usual subject matter. The main character of this book is a has been NFL player who is “forced” to play overseas thanks to a less than stellar NFL career. This book is a must read for any John Grisham fan or anyone that is a fan of football (the American version). Buy your copy today by clicking on the icon below:

Odd Hours by Dean Koontz
If you like Stephen King, but want something that’s a lot shorter, Dean Koontz is your guy. I just recently finished reading Odd Hours and I must say it was excellent. This book is a part of the Odd Thomas series. Odd can communicate with the dead and he gets partial premonitions that he really can’t understand. This book is another good book to help break up the monotony of all of the business reading that you’re doing on a regular basis.

Book Review: James Patterson and Maxine Paetro’s 7th Heaven
I absolutely loved this book. This book was true to James Patterson form in that it kept you guessing throughout the whole book. This book is part of the Women’s Murder Club series. Basically, the only son of the governor in this book goes missing and they have to figure out who was responsible. Also, there’s a rash of fires in wealthy parts of the state happening at the same time. If you’re looking for a fun book to balance out all of the business reading, this is an excellent book to add to your collection.

Whew, glad that’s over!
I am sooo glad that the election is over. I’m excited that Obama won! I never thought that we’d have a Black President in my lifetime. Maybe now we can stop fighting about it and get on with our lives and rebuild the country.

Election Day 2008 News
If you didn’t take advantage of the early voting in Georgia, you must vote on November 4th, 2008. The polls will be open from 7 AM to 7 PM. Thanks to a new Georgia law, you’re required to have photo id to vote. You’re not required to have received your voter registration card, however.
If you have questions about your polling place, you can call 1-877-6226. If you need a ride to the polls, call 404-524-8683. There will probably be long lines, so bring a book, some snacks, patience, and a good attitude.
