There will be a job fair sponsored by Good Morning America on Thursday, Nov. 13 2008. Doors open at 9:00 AM.  They want you to register on their website before you attend. Click on the words job fair in this blog post for more information.

There will be a career expo on October 14th hosted by Women For Hire.

It will be held at the Cobb Galleria Center from 10 am – 2pm.  This will be a fantastic opportunity for you to get out there and meet some employers and maybe even land a job!

Here’s some information I got regarding a career fair in my email box.  Now personally I think career fairs are a waste of time as I’ve never gotten a job as a direct result of attending a career fair.  However, I do think that career fairs are an excellent place to network and collect information about companies that you want to work for.
