I am sooo glad that the election is over.  I’m excited that Obama won! I never thought that we’d have a Black President in my lifetime. Maybe now we can stop fighting about it and get on with our lives and rebuild the country.

If you didn’t take advantage of the early voting in Georgia, you must vote on November 4th, 2008.  The polls will be open from 7 AM to 7 PM.  Thanks to a new Georgia law, you’re required to have photo id to vote.  You’re not required to have received your voter registration card, however.

If you have questions about your polling place, you can call 1-877-6226.  If you need a ride to the polls, call 404-524-8683.  There will probably be long lines, so bring a book, some snacks, patience, and a good attitude.
