I have been busy over the past couple of weeks.  I just started a new job and I upgraded my web hosting. Now my blogs each have their own domain name. Pretty neat, huh? Now I have to upgrade them to the latest version of wordpress. I wish wordpress would give us a little break in between updates.   It seems like I’m updating my blog software every other week.

I decided not to have a memorial service.  Instead, I’m just focusing on living and taking better care of myself.

We lost the baby on August 13th.  I’ll post more info on a memorial service when we get everything organized.

Well folks it’s official!  We’re expecting.  I don’t know my due date yet or whether its a boy or a girl.  I just found out through a home pregnancy test.  Did you know that they had those things at the dollar store?  Anyway more info as I get it (and decide it belongs on a blog).

That’s correct!  I’ve gotten hitched.  I got married on October 23, 2007.  That’s why my posts have been pretty nonexistent lately.  I’ve been adjusting to married life.  More than likely this will be my last post of the year.  I’m relaxing and enjoying my family for the rest of the year.  Be blessed.

I can’t believe it’s been two weeks since I last posted something.  It’s been a busy two weeks.  I just started a new job and I moved.  Also my grandfather passed on May 5th.  Whew.  Not to mention we’ve been singing all over the place with the chorus.  Hopefully things will quiet down a little bit and I can get back to blogging.  I’ve got so many pages of notes to put in here, it’s ridiculous…

I’m giving up on this nofollow crap right now. I still don’t understand why they put that in as a default. It doesn’t stop comment spammers at all… Oh well. Less programming, more blogging. I’ll deal with the programming lessons after I move and get settled.

Bear with me on this transition.  I’m still working out the bugs.  Right now the archive doesn’t seem to work right.  As soon as I figure something out, I’ll provide you with the older posts.  Until then you’ll only be able to see my recent posts on here.  I’m going through a move right now so it will probabbly be a few weeks before I can figure out what I’m doing wrong.

I didn’t realize that I had been ignoring this blog. Oops, my bad. I got a promotion at my “day” job at Jackson Hewitt. I’ll be the store manager at the Gresham rd Wal-mart. That’s going to keep my busy for a while. There’s also Podcamp Atlanta happening. You can read about that by going to learnsmallbusiness.wordpress.com That’s it for right now.

There’s a lot going on in the Churches of Christ in the Atlanta area next week.

There are three different gospel meetings taking place.

Shaeffer Rd Church of Christ, Bouldercrest Church of Christ and Greenbriar Church of Christ are each having a gospel meeting betwen October 15th and October 19th. My suggestion: Church Hop! Go to one church on Sunday, Go to the next one on Monday and so on and so forth. That way you’ll get a great variety!

Also, there will be a FREE health fair at the West End Church of Christ on October 28, 2006 between 10Am and 3 PM. It’s open to the whole metro Atlanta community, so come on out.
